The Exeter United squad had an evening out at St James Park last week. We want to say a big thanks to the Supporters' Trust who have kindly donated a kit for us to use next season. As Exeter City FC were formed by a merger including a club called Exeter United, it makes sense for the two clubs to support each other. We chose a great match to attend, with City scoring a last minute winner in a 4-3 win.

Thanks to everyone who was part of the club this year. It was a difficult season with lockdowns and interruptions but we finished well. Looking forward to a more normal season next year!
New players and volunteers are always welcome so get in touch if you are interested in joining us. The 20/21 season began in September, with the club being promoted again for the 4th time in 4 seasons. This year we are playing in Division 2 East and after a great pre-season we have started well under new coach Ali Omrani
Many thanks to Autoshine Car Wash for sponsoring the new kit. Coronavirus brought the season to an early end in March. The photo above is from our last match of the season, a 5-2 win was a good way to finish things off. We're already planning for next year. If anyone is interested in helping the club grow, as a player, committee member or sponsor then get in touch. See you in September
We're now a few games into the new season, the third since the club started in 2017. After two successive promotions we have started 2019/20 well, hopefully we can keep the good form going throughout the winter
After an eventful 2018/19, everyone is enjoying a rest and looking forward to getting started again. Pre-season training starts Weds 10th July 8pm at Exwick Sport Hub. New players welcome, get in touch if you would like to come along. Despite finishing 8th this season, we have been promoted for the second time in two seasons and we will be starting in Division 5 this year After a 2-1 defeat at Colyton on Saturday we are heading into the final week of the season. Three games in 5 days coming up finishing with a trip to top of the league Kentisbeare. It looks like we will end up in mid-table, despite a good run of results lately. Looking forward to some good football this week, and then a much-needed rest!
On behalf of Exeter United, we think that is good to see national recognition about the levels of racism in grassroots football. Our players have been saying this for years. The extent and nature of the discrimination can be shocking and difficult to understand until you witness it regularly. However this is not about scapegoating individuals. We need education and awareness for everyone to slowly change the culture.
The case in the media is finished as far as we are concerned. It has been dealt with well by the FA and D&E League and hopefully everyone involved can learn and move on. The bigger picture is that clubs, officials, leagues and FA's need to work closely with grassroots to listen, to understand the problems and find constructive solutions. We are looking forward to next season and taking part in the sport we all love Dr Suaad George Chair, Exeter United FC Recent news items - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/47968008 https://www.theguardian.com/football/2019/apr/12/racism-english-football-parks-premier-league-special-investigation Many thanks to Exeter University for sponsoring our new home kit.
